Eaton Skin & Aesthetics has been created by a gradual extension of services provided by Eaton & Australind Medical Centre & Skin Clinic, who have been providing skin cancer and primary care dermatology services for many years. We have doctors that have now developed extensive expertise in skin cancer medicine, general dermatology and aesthetic medicine and we have invested in new cutting-edge equipment and technology to the extent that opening a dedicated clinic was the next logical step.
Eaton Skin & Aesthetics is a doctor-led clinic created to provide comprehensive skin services from skin cancer, dermatological conditions and the inevitable changes that come with ageing skin in a country with high general UV radiation exposure.

Whole body documentation for early detection of skin changes
A combination of total body photography and digital dermoscopy is recommended by key opinion leaders worldwide, including the Cancer Council Australia in clinical practice guidelines for the diagnosis and management of melanoma, to follow-up high-risk patients with previous melanomas and those with a high burden of moles. The Automated Total Body Mapping (ATBM) technology with FotoFinder® scanning software in use at Eaton Skin & Aesthetics combines these functions in a system that documents all of your skin lesions at each visit and can identify any new or changing lesions.
Skin CancerPrimary Care Dermatology
At Eaton Skin & Aesthetics our GPs can assist in identifying many skin issues and providing timely advice, treatment and/or referral. A number of our doctors have additional training in skin cancer identification and treatment and are available to perform full skin checks. Our receptionists will be able to tell your which of our doctors offer this service and book you in for a regular skin check.

Appointment lengths will vary depending on the nature of the appointment and whether any procedures are going to be performed. An initial appointment to discuss a single skin condition will be 10 minutes. A holistic initial aesthetic consultation with photography and long-term skin treatment and maintenance plan is 30 minutes. A standard full-body skin check is 20 minutes, whereas a FotoFinder ATBM skin check is 50 minutes. Subsequent treatment and follow-up appointments are discussed at the initial and subsequent consultations.
