Dr Vanessa Orsi is an experienced general practitioner with a dedicated full-time focus on skin cancer medicine and surgery.

After graduating in Brazil in 2005, Dr Orsi has over 20 years of post-graduate medical experience, including nine years practising in Australia. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2020 and has practised exclusively in skin cancer medicine for the past five years.

Dr Orsi has undertaken extensive postgraduate training through the Skin Cancer College Australasia and has completed advanced clinical certificates in dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery, including flap and graft techniques for more complex excisions. She is also a Tutor in Advanced Dermoscopy with the Skin Cancer College, reflecting her commitment to both clinical excellence and teaching.

Importantly, Dr Orsi has been mentored by one of the most experienced skin cancer doctors in the Greater Bunbury region, Dr Fred Pretorius, until his recent well-deserved retirement. This mentorship provided valuable experience in advanced skin cancer management within the South West community.

Her particular areas of interest include:
• Advanced dermoscopy and melanoma detection
• Complex excisions, including flaps and grafts
• Facial skin cancer surgery
• Long-term skin cancer surveillance

Dr Orsi is known for her compassionate, patient-centred approach and meticulous surgical technique. She values continuity of care and believes that long-term doctor–patient relationships are essential for optimal skin cancer management.
Having lived in the South West for nine years, she has established strong ties within the community and is proud to provide advanced skin cancer care close to home.
